Sometimes, multitasking can actually interfere with your ability to get things done. According to the Harvard Business Review, an interruption in attention can decrease productivity and increase the amount of time that it takes to complete a task by 25%. They recommend being very systematic in your approach to the more challenging tasks. We tend to put off more challenging work or avoid it all together according to this article.
